About Our Client:
We are recruiting on behalf of an established provider of children's residential services, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care across the UK. Our client is opening a new 4-bed residential home, specialising in supporting children and young people. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to lead the home, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with regulatory standards.
The Role:
* Ensuring the home meets and exceeds OFSTED standards and regulations, maintaining a focus on the welfare and development of children with learning disabilities.
* Leading and managing a dedicated team, providing supervision, training, and support to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Overseeing day-to-day operations, including care planning, safeguarding, risk assessments, and quality assurance.
* Building strong relationships with external stakeholders, including local authorities, families, and other professionals, to support positive outcomes for children.
* Implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure the home delivers outstanding care and achieves strong OFSTED ratings.
What We’re Looking For:
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting.
* Strong understanding of OFSTED frameworks, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation, including the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
* A commitment to promoting the welfare, safety, and development of children and young people.
* A clean Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to register with OFSTED as the Registered Manager.
