Job Description
Due to our continued growth throughout 2025, OCU Group has a new opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Neath, South Wales.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contractual issues on projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
We work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, achieving our goals and succeeding with the work we do and the way we grow.
Candidates with Power/Energy experience will be at an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects based on architectural drawings, specifications, and other relevant information.
* Develop detailed project budgets, including materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
* Monitor project costs throughout the process and identify areas where costs can be optimised.
* Manage the tendering process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
