These both have an established interdisciplinary team approach and require the applicant to use innovative thinking and strong working relationships and excellent clinical skills to maintain and enhance high standards of stroke care.

3. Potential to include the neuro outpatients and Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team in the future.
Main duties of the job
You'll manage service development projects across the Adult Therapies department, as well as support the wider MDT to continue to develop a bar-raising stroke service. We're big on collaboration. That means you'll get to share expertise, advice and new ideas on how to improve the experience for our many patients.
We're looking for an HCPC-registered Band 7 physiotherapist who has experience gained in community outpatient, acute and rehab in-patient services. In this key role in our teaching Trust, you'll also need experience of supervising others in their day-to-day role. As you'll get the chance to rotate, we'd expect to see evidence of the clinical application of core therapy and reasoning skills - as well as some knowledge of wide-ranging assessments and interventions for patients with varied neurological conditions. Developmental positions will be considered starting at a band 6 level and progressing to a band 7 position once key competencies are met.
We've one big team. And countless possibilities. That's why we're looking for a Band 7 physiotherapist who's as inspired by change, ambitious and determined to succeed as we are.
