1:1 Core Subjects Tutor
Location: Worksop (S80 and S81)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions focused on core subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Science.
* Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement, developing tailored lesson plans to meet their individual learning needs.
* Provide clear, structured guidance and support to students to help them build confidence and improve their academic performance.
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods and materials as necessary.
* Foster a positive, engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
* Provide regular feedback on progress.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* A strong understanding of the curriculum in core subjects (English, Mathematics, and Science).
* Experience in tutoring or teaching.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
* Ability to assess individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and deliver structured lessons.
* A patient, empathetic approach to working with students of varying abilities and learning styles.
* A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Familiarity with the national curriculum and exam preparation techniques.
* A flexible, adaptable teaching style, with the ability to make learning engaging and accessible.
