Great Heath Post Office is currently looking to recruit a permanent counter clerk to join our team for our branch in Foleshill Road Coventry.
As a Counter clerk, you will be responsible for building rapport and delivering excellent customer service to our customers.
The role will vary from posting mails, cash handling, currency exchange, money transfers, bill payments, to keeping our customers informed about the latest products and services available from the post office.
Skills Required
* Previous Post Office experience would be an advantage but it’s not essential, as we will consider candidates who are enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to learn.
* Excellent customer service skills; friendly, polite, and willing to help.
* Good numeracy skills, able to deal with money accurately.
* Previous selling experience is not essential.
* Ability to talk to people at all levels.
* Excellent conversation skills to find out customers' needs and match products/services.
* Polite, friendly, and experienced in building rapport with customers.
* Motivated, positive, and enthusiastic.
* Contribute to the team and have a commitment to achieving targets.
* Able to keep the workplace clean and tidy.
* Flexible to cover holidays.
* Good keyboard skills.
* Able to work in a busy environment accurately.
* Willing to learn.
