The role
As an IEC Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary.
Day to day, you will provide Immediate Emergency Care / Advanced First Aid Training to the London Fire Brigade. You’ll need to have comprehensive and current knowledge of Immediate Emergency Care but please note no previous training experience is required as we will happily look to develop you into the role

1. A minimum of 80% of your annual hours will be spent providing training to small and large groups of learners.
2. Setting high standards and acting as coach and mentor to trainers and developing, recording and monitoring their personal development plans
3. Ensuring that training is delivered in a safe and professional manner in accordance with the course materials and risk assessments.

Essential experience of the IEC Trainer:
5. Experience of training or delivering Immediate emergency care
Qualifications for the IEC Trainer:
6. Attained the appropriate technical qualification. – FPOS, FREC
7. Attained, working towards or committed to attaining a recognised teaching/training qualification e.g. Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
