The role?
A new and exciting role has arisen for a Senior HSE Advisor here at EnerMech in Aberdeen. This is a full time permanent position reporting to the HSE Manager. The role will involve providing informed, professional and pragmatic HSE advice and guidance to the business in implementing, Safety, Health and Environmental objectives and standards.
You will also be expected to provide informed, proactive and professional HSE functional support to the business as a partner in our activities.
Other main duties will include;
* Provide Senior support to client audits and lead this for HSE activity where required
* Take an active role in internal HSE Committees
* Provide monthly and quarterly HSE reports
* Carry out and interpret trend analysis, suggesting solutions to challenges
* Support the business units in the achievement of HSE objectives
* Support the monitoring and delivery of the HSE Scorecards
* Provide support, guidance and coaching to employees, managers and less experienced member of the HSE function to support development and improve performance
You are?
To be successful for this position you will be educated to an HNC level or equivalent and be a Technical member of a HSE institute. You will hold your NEBOSH and/or IOSH and be Root Cause Analysis trained. You will also be Lead Auditor qualified to an IRCA registered training provider.
We are looking for someone who is hands on and enjoys working in a busy, dynamic environment where no day is the same. The role will involve working within various industries as well as Oil & Gas for example, Renewables, Infrastructure, Petrochemicals and Nuclear. Ideally the successful candidate will have had experience within a HSE function within the Oil & Gas industry.
