System Engineer
Contract position
Working pattern: Once a month in-office. International travel 10% of the time.

Description
1. The candidate will report to the Lead Execution Manager for Industrial Cyber Security.
2. Support Digital Products and Solutions team in achieving goals and setting cyber security strategy.
3. Assist the delivery of cybersecurity projects by validating existing technical documentation.
4. Support key business stakeholders as they look to adopt new technologies.
5. Develop and build-on technical partnerships with internal and external suppliers.
6. Work with the Lead Execution Manager/Technical Lead to support large cyber projects.
7. Customer cyber support - act as a point of contact for some customers operational cyber issues.
8. Provide general OT security advice and consult customers on OT security issues and ensure safe, continuous production operations.
9. Liaise with internal ICS (Industrial Cyber Security) group on compliance and best practice.
10. Support Cyber execution training and troubleshooting support for product competence centres (Product Lines).
11. Expected to travel to Warwick at least once a month to maintain the cyber security lab.
12. Availability to travel to customer sites globally for 10% of the time.
Relevant skills and experience
1. Experienced as a control systems engineer or similar role with specific knowledge of industrial applications in the energy or oil & gas sector.
2. Hands-on Experience with Cyber security implementation in OT environments.
3. Knowledge of industrial cyber regulation and standards.
4. Demonstrates attention to detail and consistently producing high-quality deliverables.
5. Good knowledge of remote connections solutions used in industry.
6. Proven ability to write and manage technical documents.
7. GICSP or other certifications are preferred.
8. Knowledge on virtualization processes and configuration of the major providers (VMWare, others).
9. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to successfully accomplish client-facing interactions.
