Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Lime Tree House. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult social care, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and a proven track record in team leadership and service delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance, whilst supporting and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Care Management: Ensure the delivery of person-centred care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of all residents.
* Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a dedicated care team. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure staff are equipped to deliver the highest standards of care.
* Compliance: Ensure that all care practices comply with regulatory requirements, including CQC standards, and manage audits and inspections.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate care plans to ensure that residents’ needs are being met, and implement improvements where necessary.
* Budgets & Resources: Oversee budgets and manage resources efficiently to ensure that the service runs smoothly and effectively.
* Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, their families, staff, and other stakeholders. Act as a point of contact for family members regarding care matters.
* Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks related to residents’ care and safety, taking proactive measures to minimize incidents.
* Recruitment & Retention: Be involved in the recruitment and retention of care staff, ensuring we have the right people in place to provide exceptional care.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Registered Manager status with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent (or working towards).
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a care setting, with a strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
* A passion for delivering person-centred care and improving the lives of others.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
