Senior Building Physics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Physics Engineer to join a multidisciplined building services consultancy in their offices in Plymouth. The successful candidate will take the lead on a range of complex and large-scaled projects in a predominantly client facing role
Role responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer include:
1. Carry out energy assessments and thermal analysis using IES
2. Produce low and zero carbon reports, as well as reports for building regulations that comply with Part L
3. Produce EPC’s for commercial and domestic projects, as well as SAP calculations for domestic projects
4. Identify new opportunities for business development and growth of the company as, well as developing and maintain client relationships
The ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer will have:
5. Relevant master’s degree within a mechanical, building services, or architectural engineering field
6. A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a relevant role within the built environment industry
7. Experience with design and modelling software such as IES, SAP, and Revit
8. Hold a Level 5 Energy Assessor accreditation and Low Carbon Consultancy qualification
9. Full UK driving license
