A Mechanical Technician is required to join our client based in Fife, a UK wide waste management organisiation (Perm, Monday to Friday, Days). Mechanical technician duties: Ensures relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into area of responsibility and, in consultation with site management and HSE, that HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable Performs all mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance activities on all processes systems and equipment Reads and follows mechanical drawings, O&M manuals, and relevant information Carries out assigned job activities throughout the shift to ensure all work assignments are completed correctly and as requested Preventative maintenance and fault finding The mechanical technician will update progress reports on work orders on CMMS Ensures that work accidents, incidents and near misses are reported Complies with all National and Local Mechanical Codes, completing professional works Requirements: Related qualification Experience in a heavy process envoironment with reactive and preventative maintenance experience.
