An excellent opportunity has arisen for an individual to contribute to the safe delivery of care within the Outpatient Department within the Specialist Surgery Clinical Care Group in Ninewells Hospital. This incorporates Dermatology, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Neurosciences Outpatient Departments and the Surgical Admission Unit (SAU).
You should demonstrate an ability to provide a high standard of nursing care with proven ability to manage change through effective leadership while leading and managing teams through empowering and developing staff in the safe delivery of care.
You must be proactive, enjoy working in a challenging environment, and able to demonstrate highly effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of your ability to lead and work as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants must hold first level nursing or midwifery qualification with first degree or other qualification equivalent to level 9 of Scottish Credit and Qualification framework (SCQF).
You must have extensive post registration experience and evidence of continual post registration development.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
