M&E Supervisor – Based out of Southampton covering Hampshire and surrounding areas Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 p/a company van & fuel card We are seeking an experienced M&E Supervisor with an electrical background and preferably a gas qualification to join our client's team. This role requires someone with strong experience in social housing kitchens and bathrooms who can effectively manage and oversee M&E operations while working 100% off the tools. They cover everything from painting and repairs to fire protection and complete refurbishments, ensuring properties are well-maintained and safe. Key sectors, including education, healthcare, housing, and retail. Your Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the M&E team, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard Conduct quality snagging and ensure work is properly ticked off Deliver toolbox talks and provide guidance to team members Report directly to contract managers with updates on progress and any issues Be flexible and travel to various sites as required Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards Manage, measure, and monitor operatives and subcontractors Ensure safe vehicle usage, report accidents, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and stock Conduct employee investigations and reviews Manage absences and return-to-work interviews Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses The successful candidate will have: Strong electrical background (essential) Gas qualification (preferred) Experience in social housing projects, particularly kitchens and bathrooms Proven ability to manage and supervise a team effectively Strong understanding of quality control and snagging processes Ability to conduct toolbox talks and liaise with senior management Willingness to travel to multiple sites as needed Must hold a recognised Electrical or Mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant Electrical or Mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience IOSH Managing Safely SSSTS (preferably) Benefits of working with our client: 40 hours per week A pension 33 Days Holiday Life Assurance Sick Pay An annual bonus scheme Paid mileage with company van
