We need a skilled 2nd Line Support Technician for a permanent role in North Bristol for a premier Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering top-tier IT support to businesses across the UK.
About the Role:
As a 2nd Line Support Technician, you'll be the go-to problem solver for our client's clients, providing remote and phone-based technical assistance. You'll work with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to larger organizations, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly.
YOU MUST BE BASED IN NORTH BRISTOL and come from a Managed Service Provider with a Driving Licence or your application will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert 2nd line support via phone and remote access.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues, including server administration, network problems, and application errors.
3. Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange, Firewall, Virtualization (Hyper-V), and Microsoft 365 environments.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
5. Document and track support requests accurately.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role.
2. Strong server administration and troubleshooting skills.
3. Expertise in Microsoft Exchange, Firewall, Virtualization (Hyper-V), and Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
