Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Place of work: Hybrid working both in the office and from home
Type of pay: Salary
Rate of pay: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Travel involved: Some travel to customers based around the UK or tradeshows.
The Role:
We are looking for a UK Sales Executive who can work alongside the Account Manager, managing a portfolio of existing accounts. This is a key role within our UK Sales team, with the objective to maximise sales and achieve ambitious sales targets by ensuring effective client relationship management.
You will:
· Be the contact point for key accounts, building strong client relationships.
· Maximise potential sales opportunities by understanding the client’s needs and matching those with CC products.
· Utilise Market research tools such as innova and Euro monitor to understand market trends/conditions.
· Check emails regularly throughout the day and respond to customer enquiries.
· Produce a quarterly report and a strategy plan to present at the quarter review.
· Communicate with Sales Coordinators to ensure all orders are processed and arranged for delivery.
· Attend regular meetings with key accounts. Endeavour to set up at least 1-2 meeting per month.
· Prepare for client NPD days, establish client objectives, set up agenda accordingly and ensure samples and packs are ready.
· Attend weekly sales meetings and introduce the company to new target accounts.
· Present New Product Development (NPD) ideas at the monthly NPD meeting.
· Answer the telephone (endeavour to answer in three rings).
· Check the overdue sales tab throughout the day and resolve.
You will have the following skills;
· Excellent communication skills including good presentation skills
· Outstanding attention to detail
· IT literate and proficient in all key Microsoft packages
· A professional telephone manner
· A confident negotiator
· Proven organisational and planning skills
