Founded 30 years ago, this multi-disciplinary consultancy operates throughout the UK with a team of 70+ across multiple offices, they are now looking to expand their Nottingham office with an Associate Town Planner (Chartered Town Planner). Their services encompass town planning, architecture, master planning, landscape architecture, and heritage consultancy.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Provide advice on planning matter to clients
2. Collaborate and take the lead on projects
3. Local plan representations
4. Manage site promotion and appeals
5. Preparing and submitting planning applications
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
7. Optimise new business and cross-selling opportunities
8. Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
9. Assist in mentoring and supporting other members of the team
10. Support the Associate Directors and Directors.
Required Skills & Experience
11. 5+ years of experience post-qualification (private or public sector)
12. Degree qualified in Town Planning or similar
13. RTPI membership
14. Strong communication skills
15. Full driving licence and car.
