UCL School of Pharmacy is one of the world’s leading centres of excellence for pharmaceutical science, education, and professional engagement. The school has a well-established track record in high quality research across a broad range of drug delivery, drug discovery, pharmacy, and patient safety related areas.
The UCL School of Pharmacy is located within the Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS) and is one of five areas that constitute the faculty. The faculty has been associated with seven Nobel Laureates and continues to build on its existing strengths in various biological sciences.
About the role
This is a full-time permanent role, Grade 8/9. This is an exciting opportunity to become an Associate Professor or Lecturer at UCL. The successful applicant will have a track record in research and teaching, particularly in pharmacy practice and education.
The successful candidate is expected:
* To lead on research projects and funding opportunities and produce publications in line with personal objectives.
* To lead and provide strategic direction for designated teaching and learning activities across a range of modules.
* To support teaching at undergraduate and graduate level in areas allocated by the Head of Research Department.
* To support on departmental, faculty or UCL-wide working groups or committees.
* To develop relationships within UCL and externally with education stakeholders.
About you
The successful candidate will be a UK registered pharmacist with research and teaching experience, responsible for designated courses/modules, lectures and workshops.
