We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team in our newly renovated café. As the café has only just re-opened after a fire at the end of 2023, we are in the process of rebuilding our customer base.
The post is initially a part-time role covering Friday to Sunday with a view to becoming full-time as the demand increases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with experience in a restaurant environment.
As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dishes while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen atmosphere.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and preparation processes.
* Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Collaborate with the management team to ensure that all dishes meet quality standards.
* Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
* Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and communication among kitchen staff.
