We have a fantastic opportunity for a Master Data Administrator to join our Data team as FitFlop embarks on an exciting period of projects to improve our core systems. Our Data Team plays a key role in the business to ensure all product-related data is accurate and applied on time to our systems, allowing the streamlined process of development, ordering, production, shipping, sales, and invoicing processes to be carried out.
This is a great opportunity to get a holistic view of how the organisation and fashion brands work. You will be working closely with multiple global departments, learning a lot about footwear products and processes, all while being a gatekeeper of the data flow.
You’ll be all about data and someone who is keen to learn and develop in this position. A system ‘whizz’ with a keen eye for detail and a knack for communication, efficiency, and planning. You’ll have an interest in both numbers and products and will ideally have some background or work experience in a data-driven role. You will be key to maintaining the Master Data processes and help to transform them into a standardised, effective, and future-proof version of them into our new ERP System.
The Responsibilities:
* Maintaining the product lifecycle of the seasonal product range.
* Set up new items on Microsoft Navision (NAV) and on the distributor ordering system (FF365).
* Coordinate with all relevant teams to ensure the timely delivery and accurate maintenance of all mandatory data for seasonal product range setup.
* Monitor the dynamically changing factory and price details and update them on our systems.
* Ensure that all essential product information (weights, dimensions, UPC and HTS codes) are distributed to the relevant stakeholders on time.
* Maintain a shared sample tracker and create sample items on NAV.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that their needs are met, and any issues raised are resolved on time.
* Become a Super-User of Smartsheet by creating and managing seasonal sheets and reports, and the connections between Smartsheet and other systems.
* Work closely with the Technology Support Team to test areas of improvement in NAV.
* Use and troubleshoot Power Query tools in Excel – all of which we will provide training for.
* Support new system-related projects at workshops.
* Provide feedback and training to stakeholders to make improvements.
The Person:
* You’ll have a huge interest in data and systems, with an eager attitude to learn and develop.
* Experience working within fashion or retail would be great – but if not, having a keen interest is great too.
* An advanced skillset with Microsoft Excel, and we will provide training and support to develop your skills.
* A strategic thinker who loves data and working collaboratively across multiple departments.
* An organiser and meticulous planner with an excellent eye for detail.
* Good process improvement and problem-solving techniques.
* Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
* You’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
* A good understanding (or experience) of master data management, supply chain, and finance is advantageous as these are the main department users of our ERP system.
* As this is a data role working with systems, any experience working with ERP systems will be beneficial but not essential – this could be NAV, NetSuite, or SAP amongst many more.
* Any experience with Power Query, Smartsheet, Tableau, or Snowflake is again beneficial, but not essential as you’ll be trained on these.
The Benefits:
* Product Allowance (2 free pairs of shoes a year and 50% off 20 pairs).
* Hybrid and flexible working hours.
* Summer Fridays (6 ½ days in July and August on Fridays).
* 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
* Work from anywhere for 2 weeks.
* WorkPlace Nursery (salary sacrifice scheme to save money on your nursery fees).
* Wellbeing Program – Retail Trust, Sanctus Coaching, and Calm App.
* Career development allowance (Personal allowance to use on career development).
* Private health care and/or dental care (provided by AXA and DenPlan).
