The Role:
In this senior position, you will report directly to the Head of Financial Services and take charge of the day-to-day management of the business partnering function. Your responsibilities will include providing financial support across the organisation, ensuring compliance with financial, audit, and procurement regulations, while working to foster strong relationships within the organisation to enable effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery of monthly management accounts, statutory financial statements, and cash flow management.
2. Oversee payroll management and ensure the successful development and administration of financial systems.
3. Provide strategic input in budget setting, long-term financial planning, and financial forecasting at both organisational and departmental levels.
4. Act as a trusted business partner to the management team, offering insight and guidance to support key financial decisions.
5. Support the financial control and compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced senior financial professional with proven leadership and management of a corporate services function. We are looking for someone with:
1. A relevant professional accountancy qualification (e.g., CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA, ICA).
2. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role (further education experience is not essential).
3. Demonstrable experience in financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
4. Experience in cash flow management, payroll administration, and budget setting.
5. Strong business partnering skills, with a track record of working closely with senior management to deliver strategic goals.
