As a Kitchen Steward at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:
1. Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchenware.
2. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
3. Assist in sorting kitchen waste and adhere to established guidelines and local regulations.
4. Maintain kitchen equipment and report malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
You will work on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, totaling 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning to evening shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is required.
To be a successful Kitchen Steward, you must have a collaborative attitude and good communication skills.
