Job ProfileThe post holder will be a qualified Healthcare Assistant with an NVQ in care or equivalent. Patient centred care will be at the forefront of the post holder's clinical and professional practice and they will demonstrate clinical skills that provide the highest standards possible. Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. We do have part time opportunities available also.Shifts: Monday - Friday.Location: The London Clinic's Imaging Department, 20 Devinshire Place. Salary: The salary for this role is competitive and Band 3 NHS equivalent. Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%). Key Duties To assist in the provision of efficient breast imaging, molecular imaging and general ultrasound services. To work under direct or indirect supervision of the, General Radiographers, Molecular Imaging operators, Breast Imaging Radiographers and Consultants. Assist with patients' overall care and safety. Support the team to deliver high quality patient centred care. To understand and follow 'The Clinic' policies and procedures. Acknowledge limitations and seek advice / support when necessary. Respect the patient's dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs. To work as part of the multidisciplinary team. Skills & Experience To have completed secondary education. NVQ in care or equivalent Previous experience working in a surgical/ medical area within a hospital environment.
