About the role: Nursery Teacher: A warm and welcoming community school in Islington, London, is looking for a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team from January 2025. The role will involve planning and assessing lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, integrating playful, interactive methods to help children develop key social, emotional, and academic skills.

Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification, with a specialisation in Early Years or Foundation Stage education preferred.
• Proven experience in teaching nursery or early years within a UK-based school setting, demonstrating a clear understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, including collaboration with SENCOs and support staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive interactions with children, staff, and parents to support each child’s learning journey and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that cater to the needs of each child.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment, promoting respect and positive behavior.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, using observations and assessments to adapt lesson plans and provide individualised support, ensuring each child reaches developmental milestones in line with the EYFS framework.
• Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to meet the needs of children with SEN.
• Build positive relationships with families to encourage involvement in their child’s learning journey.
