About the Role
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will take full responsibility for a portfolio of construction projects across the project lifecycle. In addition, take PM line reporting responsibility providing outstanding leadership. The role will interact closely with the head of construction (who directly report), SHEQ, commercial, sales and wider teams in the business. In addition, the job holder will be accountable for SHEQ, programme and commercial status across assigned portfolio. Actively participating in specific project Governance. The role provides clear leadership and vision, to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence. The role is at the forefront of designing and delivering an expansion strategy to grow the team as the business expands across the UK/EU.
Responsibilities
* Define and drive Delivery strategy and roadmap
* Take responsibility for programme and commercial across assigned construction project portfolio driving project excellence
* Take reporting for PMs across assigned project portfolio
* Take responsibility for programme management oversight for the assigned project portfolio
* Take responsibility for compliance to construction governance is in place across assigned project portfolio
* Work closely with pre-construction manager in preparing project mobilisation activity
* Work closely with Commercial stakeholders to ensure the project deliverables are fully understood and executed on time as per project cycle
* Contribute to the internal matrix support framework, ensuring that supporting aspects within the project cycle are in place and fit for BAU
* Responsible for ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitate and drive continuous Improvement across assigned project portfolio
* Take responsibility for meeting SHEQ auditing targets for assigned project portfolio
* Play an active supporting role supporting the platform business
* Staying up to date with industry best practices to educate clients and internal teams on the advantages of various design and implementation options to meet business and technical requirements within the EV sector
* Responsible for ensuring assigned project portfolio is live within Sitetracker
* Complete project reviews with stakeholders for assigned project portfolio

* Build and cultivate strong internal customer relationships to establish engagement for the Fleet and Amazondelivery business unit and ensure execution delivery is in alignment with expectations
* Maintain high standards of professional conduct at all times and protect and preserve the goals, values, and reputation of EO.
* Demonstrate the highest ethical standards and sustain a culture of doing the right thing
Requirements
* Experience in a equivalent SPM role or demonstratable complex project management experience, ideally gained within utilities, electrical facilities construction
* Project Management/Technical related qualification
* Demonstrate an understanding of the ecosystem approach to EV adoption on a large scale
* Demonstrate programme management experience with a delivery business unit
* Experience of leading people, growing capabilities with ability communicate at all levels
* Ability to perform a key role within a governance framework
* Commercially aware with a strong proven background in infrastructure project delivery and associated contracts
* Proven ability in working with and providing leadership to sub-contractor frameworks
* Ability to collaborate and lead ensuring compliance to health, safety, and environmental legislation. Able to minimise risk through developing and endorsing safe operating processes
* Proven track record of delivering targets whilst maintaining outstanding customer relations/ services
