TUV SUD Services (UK) Limited provide support services to the TÜV SÜD UK Group. The People Team, based in Fareham and in East Kilbride in Scotland, provide People services to stakeholders across the UK. We are now looking for an Apprentice to join our People Team based in Fareham. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the People Team, whilst also undertaking their Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 3 qualification. The role will primarily support recruitment activities, but the successful individual will get involved in a variety of activities. Using your own initiative, communicating effectively (both verbally and in writing) and being able to produce accurate work are all important aspects of this role. This position offers permanent employment in a modern working environment, with great benefits, including a subsidised on-site Restaurant and Gym. The site is close to bus routes, Junction 9 of the M27 and Swanwick railway station.
Duties And Responsibilities
Support the acquisition of new talent including:
1. Supporting managers with recruitment documentation, such as developing job descriptions and requisitions.
2. Supporting the People Team with reviewing applications in a timely manner.
3. Scheduling of interviews, creating of interview invitations, generation of relevant documentation and liaising with candidates.
4. Welcoming interviewees, explaining the structure of the interview and gathering the required interview and identification and rights to work documents.
5. Progressing pre-employment checks for new starters based on security and employment requirements, chasing, reviewing and recording on receipt.
6. Monitor receipt of probationary documentation and audit files to identify outstanding information.
7. Generate reports/statistics using the SAP HR database and Excel.
8. Other administrative tasks as required to support other team members, e.g. data input and training, event and travel arrangements.

Qualifications/Qualifikationen
Essential Criteria:
1. Keen to follow an HR/People career path.
2. 5 GCSE grades 9-4 (or equivalent), including English, Maths and ICT.
3. Good Microsoft Office skills, with ability to use Word and Excel.
4. Effective communication skills.
5. An enthusiastic approach and a willingness to learn.
6. Good organisation and time management skills.
7. Attention to detail.
8. Able to get to Octagon House location and the training provider for studies.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Experience in an administrative role or customer-facing role.
