CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT - SALES LEDGER BASED - DARLINGTON
A growing and exciting group based in Darlington is looking for a Customer Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Director the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administration and finance related duties.
Key responsibilities
* Sales ledger management
* Direct Debit control
* Processing sales invoices
* Following and using the Sage accounts system and bespoke contracts system
* Management and resolution of queries
* Bank reconciliations
* Credit Control - proactively chasing aged and current debt via telephone and email
Experience and requirements of the candidate
* Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role but not essential
* Experience of Sage desirable
* Proficient in Excel
* The ability to adapt, multi-task and work to deadlines
* A self-starter with excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
* Positive working mentality
