Job Title: Client Manager Level & Responsibility: This role is at a Manager level or equivalent and has responsibility over a portfolio of clients as well as a team. Salary: £39,000per annum, depending on experience plus a 10% bonus scheme Location & Hybrid Working: Liverpool, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in office The role We’re looking for a Client Manager to join our Very Media Group team. As part of SMG, you’ll be helping to take Very’s retail media proposition from Good…to Very Good. You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of brands whilst also building stakeholder relationships during an exciting transition to VMG. You will be accountable for planning, executing and evaluating market leading campaigns, with an opportunity to manage members of the team. Why SMG? In line with our company values, within your role you'll want to stay honest, stay hungry, stay foolish, and most importantly, have fun More specifically, you'll have / be: 6-12 months experience of coaching and managing a member of your team. Experience working in a marketing role within ideally a retail or tech-based industry. Experience with working towards and hitting ambitious commercial targets of £1m annually. Ability to work confidently with data & financial reporting with experience in Excel. A proven track record in the development and planning of strategic marketing campaigns within the retail environment. A good attitude in all environments with a strong will to succeed. Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with multiple stakeholders to deliver best in class client service, at all times. What you'll be doing We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like: Manage and develop a direct report(s), completing weekly 121 meetings, quarterly work plans and 6-month appraisal reviews. Lead the commercial partnership by managing forecasts, tracking targets, and handling ad-hoc requests. Manage and build strong relationships with stakeholders across VMG and supplier brands to deliver successful co-branded campaigns. Create insight led creative proposals that help to bring your visions to life. Implement this approach on your wider team for overall best in class opportunities for our suppliers. Ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with internal processes and tiering. Ownership of your own category, managing supplier brands directly to create co-branded marketing plans that align to their brand objectives but also consider VMG wider brand moments. Ensure commercially viable plans are being created working to budgets and being considerate of net targets. Support the team in campaign reporting, improving communication of data and performance to stakeholders.
