Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement sales strategies for Managed Service Solutions in target accounts. Drive NHSi regional account acquisition and retention, identifying new markets and opportunities. Recommend business tender opportunities to senior commercial leadership and ensure optimal proposal management. Relationship Management : Build executive-level relationships with decision-makers in procurement, supply chain, and finance. Establish trustful, value-based partnerships to co-create long-term, collaborative contracts. Represent Roche as a partner in delivering tailored, customer-centric solutions. Commercial Excellence : Coordinate and lead bid and risk assessment activities, ensuring profitability and competitive positioning. Prepare high-quality proposals and deliver presentations to partners. Collaborate with internal teams to transition from “Preferred Supplier” to “Prime Contractor.” Collaboration and Innovation : Engage with internal and external partners to develop innovative solutions and services. Share best practices, insights, and market observations to elevate organizational performance. Ensure seamless post-sales handover to Customer Account Management and Service Delivery teams. Professional Development : Continuously enhance your understanding of NHS landscapes, sales methodologies, and Roche’s product portfolio. Maintain a strong awareness of Roche and third-party innovations that impact Managed Service contracts. Qualifications and Experience: Education : Degree-level qualification or equivalent, with knowledge of Managed Service/Pathology and laboratory services. Experience : Proven success in sales or market development within healthcare or related industries. Track record of managing multiple sales cycles and navigating complex, multi-layered customer organizations. Skilled in negotiating high-value commercial contracts and delivering innovative business models. Experienced in managing third-party partnerships and integration into comprehensive solutions. Skills and Attributes : Tenacious, resilient, and determined with strong commercial competence. Proficient in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office products. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to influence and collaborate across matrixed teams without direct authority.
