As a Music Therapist, manage your own schedule across 22.5 hours as you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those we care for. What you will do Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care. Develop and deliver music therapy sessions for children and adults at the hospices or in the community. Offer music therapy sessions for families and carers of hospice patients. Manage resources for music therapy, including maintaining a resource library. Maintain accurate records and statistics of all work undertaken. Participate in teaching and training for staff across all grades and disciplines. Contribute to key events Promote the safeguarding and welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Essential MA/MSc in Music Therapy. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Music Psychotherapist. Membership with the British Association for Music Therapy. Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly working with clients dealing with loss. Desirable Experience in palliative care setting Teaching experience and an interest in research/audit.
