Purpose of the role We're looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team and support the legal function across the business. This role is ideal for a solicitor with at least 1 year PQE looking to gain in-house experience in a supportive environment. Reporting to the UK Counsel, you'll work closely with multiple departments, providing legal advice, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk. How you'll make an impact at Movianto as a Legal Counsel Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, particularly client agreements. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection. Support dispute resolution, liaising with external counsel when needed. Identify legal risks and provide practical advice to the business. Provide general legal support as required. What it will take to thrive as Legal Counsel at Movianto Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 1 year PQE (or equivalent). Knowledge of commercial law, with contract drafting experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
