About You
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
1. Have your current EWRB Licence or be in the process of obtaining it.
2. Be a fully qualified Line Mechanic, ready to head straight into the field with at least a Level 4 NZQA equivalent qualification.
3. Demonstrate excellent health and safety standards.
4. Be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
5. Be community-focused and possess strong communication skills to meet the needs of those around you.
As a line mechanic, you will be responsible for:
1. Installing both overhead and underground powerlines.
2. Responding to faults and outages.
3. Assisting with maintenance and repair work as needed.
4. Testing lines and fault finding.
5. Constructing new lines.
