Mobile Service Engineers
Day shifts
Salary up to - £51,500 plus overtime - OTE £60,000
Your future employer has been providing first-class solutions for many years. It's the standards that are set in the workshop that go a long way to ensuring customer satisfaction at the other end.
You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet.
You could be working on main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, hook loaders, light commercials (vans), trailers, and tippers.
The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):
1. Routine (and preventative) maintenance
2. MOT preparation
3. Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
4. 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
5. Correction of running defects
6. Chassis and fabrication work
7. Hydraulics and pneumatics
8. Improvement of vehicle standards
9. Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
We are looking for qualified and time-served Heavy Technicians who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics.
If you are looking for a company that develops their staff, ensures up-to-date product training, and supports you in getting various accreditations, then this company is worth your serious consideration.
You can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment where your efforts will be rewarded. A skills shortage can be trained by way of upskilling. What cannot be trained, however, is the right attitude and the desire to give your clients first-class service.
Ideally, you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ, or equivalent. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or EV qualification would be desirable, as would a HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
So what are you waiting for? Get in touch for further details and start that next journey in your career.
Not yet qualified or time-served? We still want to hear from you.
If you are passionate about engineering and eager to contribute your skills to exciting projects, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity as a Workshop Engineer.
