Responsibilities
As a Business Architect, you will play a crucial role in guiding and shaping the transformation of an organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse requirements, design target operating models, and develop strategic roadmaps. Throughout the transformation programme, you will be involved in design and delivery activities to ensure successful implementation and alignment with business objectives.
Strategy Execution:
* Collaborate with senior leadership to understand strategic goals and objectives.
* Conduct analysis of the current state of the business and identify areas for improvement.
* Develop target operating models, business capabilities, and roadmaps to achieve strategic objectives.
Business Requirements Elicitation:
* Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather insights and identify business needs.
* Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
* Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and digital transformation.
Solution Design and Architecture:
* Design end-to-end business solutions, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
* Create and refine target operating models and process and data models
* Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Assure that the solution build aligns to the target operating model and maintain change control of strategic requirements.
Programme Management and Governance:
* Collaborate with programme managers to define project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
* Develop and maintain program-level business architecture governance frameworks and processes.
* Monitor and assure the transformation programme deliver the strategy objectives.
Required Skills

* 3-5 years of experience as a Business Architect, or in a similar role, preferably within large-scale transformation programmes.
* Strong understanding of business architecture frameworks, such as Business Architecture Guild, TOGAF or Zachman.
Additional Skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong facilitation skills for workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
* Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Proficient in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management techniques.
* Project management experience and familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
* Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in business architecture and digital transformation.
