Job summary We are seeking to appoint four Clinical Fellows to our Trauma and Orthopaedic team. The Clinical Fellow Program that we are offering is an exciting opportunity for trainees interested in pursuing a career in Orthopaedics. This opportunity will allow you to gain experience of clinical orthopaedics surgery at a CT level, and be involved in the orthopaedic on call Rota's. These posts are suitable for people interested in a future career in Orthopaedics, or a related speciality. Applicants should have completed 2 years of Foundation Training and have experience of working in the NHS. The roles will commence from 6 August 2025, fixed term for 12 months in the first instance until 4th August 2026. Main duties of the job The fellowship is designed on a 60% Clinical (Orthopaedics) and 40% non-clinical commitment with a full time on-call commitment contributing to the CT/SHO nights rota. You will spend time in a teaching, quality improvement of simulation role during the non-clinical commitment period. Funding may be available for a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.
