The Procurement Manager will work with colleagues from all corners of the organisation to ensure our high-quality procurement arrangements reflect the needs and ambitions of the University strategy. - ABOUT YOU - - An honours degree or a relevant equivalent professional qualification -Experience as a senior manager within a procurement function of a large organisation -Demonstrable experience of taking a lead role in ensuring compliance and governance within a procurement function -Experience of playing a key role in the development of procurement strategies and new procurement initiatives -Experience of working with teams and/or businesses to improve their service delivery through improved regulatory and/or policy compliance and governance -Evidence of success in managing cross functional teams and improving the performance of a procurement team -Proven success in project management and delivery, tracking and monitoring performance, and managing data and systems Ulster University holds a Silver Athena SWAN Award in recognition of our commitment to advancing Gender equality.
