Westmorland and Furness Council is currently undertaking condition surveys of all its assets. Using these surveys, you will develop, deliver, and manage a maintenance programme across the corporate assets to ensure that all buildings are compliant and safe, wind, and watertight. With significant investment, expectations are high that substantial improvements can be made to the property portfolio.
As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing, delivering, and managing a strategic maintenance programme for our corporate assets, ensuring compliance, safety, and resilience.
2. Implementing improvements based on recent condition surveys and managing resources to make our property portfolio safe, wind- and water-tight.
3. Leading a small, dedicated team, setting clear goals, and managing resources effectively to achieve programme objectives.
4. Taking on management responsibilities, empowering team members to grow and excel in their roles.
Ideal candidates will have:
1. A strong background in programme management within a property-related field.
2. Exceptional stakeholder management abilities.
3. Proven leadership skills.
