Are you looking to get into teaching? Do you want to gain experience working with students but are unsure where to start?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for Unqualified Cover Teachers to work on a daily basis for both short and long-term positions. This provides flexibility in your new Cover Teaching role, as several partnered secondary schools in the Southend/Rayleigh surrounding areas are recruiting on a part-time/full-time basis. Cover Teachers are always in high demand, and you can choose the work that suits you.
As you will be occupied with several schools, you will work on an ad-hoc basis where we will contact you prior to your appointment at the potential school. This allows you to choose when and where to work, enabling full flexibility in the full-time/part-time cover supervisor role.
Schools increasingly rely on Cover Teachers to cover teachers' absences. The role of a Cover Teacher is to supervise and manage a classroom in the absence of a class teacher. As a Cover Teacher, you will ensure pre-prepared class work is complete and manage student behavior in accordance with school guidelines.

1. Pay ranging from £250-£500 per week, paid via PAYE on a weekly basis
2. Flexible position to suit your needs with full-time/part-time positions available
3. Work with numerous Secondary Schools to boost your teaching skills
