Purchase Ledger Clerk
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 Overtime is available
£500 bonus paid after completion of a successful 6-month probation!
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
Location: Horsham, West Sussex. Flexible working options available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Matching invoices to purchase orders.
2. Reconciling large invoice support files and resolving variances.
3. Reviewing and posting purchase invoices.
4. Reviewing and processing expense forms.
5. Reconciling supplier statements.
6. Corresponding with suppliers to resolve queries.
7. Producing payment runs.
8. Cash posting and cashflow preparation.
9. Preparing and submitting direct debit files.
10. Allocation of customer payments to sales ledger.
11. Reviewing and processing of customer refunds.
12. Bank reconciliations.
13. Liaising with team members and other teams.
14. Ad hoc duties as required by the senior finance team.
Is this you?
1. IT literate with excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines without direct, daily supervision.
4. A positive, pro-active and personable individual with a sense of humour who will fit in well with this dynamic small team of individuals.
5. Sage 200 experience is an advantage.
6. 2 years purchase ledger experience desirable.
