Oldbury Academy is a large secondary school, serving ca 1400 11-16 year olds and is part of the Stour Vale Academy Trust. The Role
Oldbury Academy Creative Arts Faculty are excited to be in the position to expand our Art department. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Art and Design.
Can you meet the challenge of equipping young people with the knowledge and passion of the visual arts?
Our Creative Arts faculty consists of Music, Dance, Art and Drama. The successful candidate will help our Art department to thrive, developing extra-curricular opportunities, build students’ confidence in a wide range of materials and elevating the profile of Art both within our school and beyond.
The successful candidate will primarily be teaching Art and Design however, they may also be delivering lessons across other Creative Arts subjects, these lessons will be fully planned as we have a well-embedded curriculum plan in place, with teaching resources, not to mention supportive specialists in each area.
