Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Intervention Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Burnham-on-Crouch Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and progress Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students in achieving academic goals Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with SENCO and other staff members to ensure effective support for SEN students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective classroom management techniques Working Conditions: Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling sessions Work in a classroom or learners home with SEN students Collaborative work with school staff and SENCO All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
