Summary of the Accounts Technician role
Salary: Competitive
Location: Watford - minimum 3 days in the office
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time

Responsibilities of the Accounts Technician
* Prepare accounts and VAT returns for various clients including Sole Traders and Partnerships.
* Prepare personal and corporation tax returns.
* Client management accounting.
* Data entry.
* Processing journals and finalising accounts.
Requirements for a successful Accounts Technician
* AAT Level 4 qualified or part qualified ACA or ACCA.
* Accounts experience within a practice environment previously is essential.
* VAT experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong IT skills with proficiency in Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
