Job summary Framfield House Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, for 15-25 hours per week. Main duties of the job Managing and treating long-term conditions, in line with national and local policies and the practice needs. Implementing, and participating in, vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children. Meeting the needs of patients presenting for opportunistic wound care. Hypertension review and management. Running asthma, COPD and diabetes clinics and reviews. Performing cytology. Completion of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) tasks. Person Specification Qualifications Essential A relevant nursing degree. Current NMC registration with an active PIN. Competence to undertake asthma, COPD and diabetic clinics and reviews. Clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations, dressing and wound care.
