The B2B Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for crafting and implementing B2B Marcomms strategies to support Balanced Revenue objectives. Critical to the success of the role includes developing a deep understanding of Skyscanner's audiences, business, products, and B2B Brand strategies, as part of the wider launch plans and roadmap.
The opportunity
This opportunity is to join Skyscanner's B2B marcomms team based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
You will play a key role supporting the B2B marcomms team objectives to drive awareness, elevate profile and support revenue-driving initiatives. This role will both support the day-to-day initiatives as part of shaping and amplifying Skyscanner's B2B brand including event, webinar and industry partnership management, brand campaign management, and insights-driven work. You will also be responsible for supporting event & webinar objectives for B2B product campaigns. In this role you will work both at a global and local level with people across Sustainable Revenue and cross-collaboratively with the Comms team.
What you can expect:
Manage and drive Skyscanner's industry marketing ongoing initiatives and tentpole campaigns launches.
Work as part of the team to seamlessly deliver activities to raise awareness, elevate the profile and consideration of Skyscanner's b2b brand
Manage Skyscanner's b2b event programme (travel industry, aviation & digital travel tech), including collaborating closely with organisers, securing speaking slots, developing briefing docs & stand coordination
Develop and lead quarterly Skyscanner hosted webinars in support of Product Marketing objectives
Manage and implement Skyscanner-hosted Industry events such as councils & roundtables, and Partner events.
Launch and manage Tentpole campaigns (2/annually) across various marketing channels to drive awareness and build Partner Trust
Support the management of industry partnerships, including coordination, relationship-nurturing & content amplification to maximise impact.
Coordinate and oversee the creation of b2b marcomms assets including updating presentation decks, media/social media content development & using internal data tools to identify trends and insights & localise content
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on b2b marcomms, including tracking key information.
Who are you?
You have a passion for marketing, communications and project management
Degree or equivalent experience in marketing and/or communications/PR; experience in marketing/PR agency a plus
An analytical brain with a thirst for creativity
You love problem solving and balancing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. No two days are the same!
You thrive on delivering first class (no pun intended!) work and are curious about the results
You are super meticulous, diligent, love being organised and enjoy sinking into project plans!
Ability to be a team player but also work independently, and to fast moving deadlines.
