Do you have experience working in a marketing communications role and an interest in tackling environmental issues? This role will provide support for the communications and engagement function at Joint Waste Solutions, the team that delivers recycling improvement work on behalf of a partnership that includes all of Surrey’s councils and manages a waste and street cleaning collection contract on behalf of four partners. You will be monitoring and managing social media channels, creating content including basic artwork, short films, editorial and social media posts, updating websites, creating e-newsletters, carrying out desk research and administering finance for the team. The successful candidate will have experience of working in an office environment, using digital and social media channels and undertaking research. Experience of updating WordPress based websites would be an advantage. You’ll be a good written and verbal communicator as well as having good administrative and organisational skills.
