We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Service Team Leader to support the management and delivery of high-quality care for children and young people. The Team Leader will encourage and enhance the young people's self-esteem and quality of life and be involved in the general daily activities of the Home.
Key Responsibilities
1. To assist the Home Manager & Deputy Manager in managing a residential home for young people with specific needs.
2. To help promote a stimulating, caring environment.
3. To provide practical and emotional support to enable Service Users under the guidance of the Management team.
4. To work closely with Service Users and their families according to programmes and plans that have been implemented.
5. To deputise in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager.
6. To lead shifts when the most senior person on duty or when directed to do so by the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager.
Key Requirements
Essential:
1. Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
2. Willingness to undertake training.
3. Full UK driving licence, or working towards gaining full driving licence.
4. Diploma level 3.
Desired:
1. Experience of working in a caring environment with young people.
2. Experience of working with mental health service-users.
