Key Responsibilities: Deliver planned lessons and lead classroom activities in the absence of the teacher. Provide targeted support to pupils, including small group and 1:1 interventions. Assist teachers with lesson preparation, resource development, and classroom management. Monitor and assess pupil progress, reporting findings to the teacher and contributing to planning. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to learning. Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils, fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment. Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role. Proven ability to lead classes confidently and effectively. Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, staff, and parents.
