Performance Analyst
£24,000 to £29,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6B)
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)
We’re open to applications from people who may require flexible working arrangements (e.g. condensed working hours). There’ll be an opportunity to discuss your flexible working requirements during the interview process, and at offer stage.
We’re looking for a Performance Analyst to join us in Manchester to help build and manage the tools and processes that provide valuable information and insight to colleagues across our Digital Technology & Data (DT&D) teams. It’s important that our colleagues have access to (and visibility of) the data needed to make well-informed decisions, and you’ll be key to this. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.
What you’ll do
* Build, develop, and maintain the tools that our DT&D colleagues use daily to help boost their efficiency
* Manage ongoing data sources such as people management and budget data ensuring accuracy and quality remains as high as possible
* Incorporate objectives, progress data, project milestones, and streamline capacity data to inform future skills requirements
* Provide data, insights, and recommendations to inform key decisions across our DT&D teams
* Identify and explore process improvement opportunities that help DT&D colleagues continue to provide value across Co-op
This role would suit people who have
* Experience providing valuable insights and recommendations from large sets of data
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, Power Query etc)
* Good analytical and data modelling skills
* Good communication skills, with the ability to translate technical language for a non-technical audience
Why Co-op?
If you’ve got the skills and experience we’re looking for, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services). You’ll also get:
* A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
* Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
* Coaching and training to support your career development
* Wagestream – a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
* Grocery Aid – 24/7 access to a range of emotional, financial, and practical support services for you and your family

We’re actively building diverse teams and we welcome applications from everyone. If you have a disability, we can make reasonable adjustments to our recruitment process according to your needs.
If we invite you to take part in the recruitment process for any of our jobs, we’ll ask you if you need any reasonable adjustments to enable you to participate.
You can find out more about our recruitment process at jobs.coop.co.uk/apply-process.
As part of your application, you'll need to complete an online assessment. This assessment typically takes between 45-60 minutes. If you're a current Co-op colleague, this does not need to be completed.
