The post holder will be the line manager of our band 2 and band 3 administration andclerical staff, ensuring a high quality and comprehensive administrative serviceacross maternity services.
The post holder will be responsible for working across various departments within maternity, providing a senior administrative function for inpatient, intrapartum,outpatient and community teams.
To work closely with the teams to ensure effective communication, consistency andstandardization of clerical and administration processes across the maternity, clinicalbusiness unit.

Take operational responsibility for the band 2 & band 3 administrative team, including responsible for the allocation of their work with the support of the MaternityAdministration Co-ordinator.
Work with line manager to promote safe working practices, ensuring compliance withroster KPI’s, including annual leave management and promoting a positive work-lifebalance for the team.
Develop, manage, and review staff, including completing performance appraisals,1:1, training compliance and supporting professional development.
This role will mainly cover Hinchingbrooke Hospital site with the requirement to cover Peterborough site as required to support service provision
