Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are holding a Qualified Teacher Status.
Contract dates
November 2024 – July 2025 on a full-time basis.
Vision for Education are looking to recruit a full time Year 3 class teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team at a primary school rated ‘good’ in the Whitworth area of Rochdale. The school welcome all Early Career Teachers and experienced Teachers who are committed to inclusion and being part of a small school community.
The role and school
This exciting opportunity is perfect for Early Career Teachers and experienced Teachers in a Year 3 class of 30 pupils with a mixture of abilities. There are two children with SEN, who have EHCP’s and have an autism diagnosis. As there are children with SEN needs in the classroom, this role requires a teacher who can be compassionate, empathetic and understanding. The school can offer the successful primary teacher a positive and friendly environment, with opportunities of continuous professional development. This is a progressive school, and one where the teacher would benefit from supportive teaching staff and from the senior leadership team.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Will be experienced in a long-term KS2 classroom within a primary school.
Adapt teaching and lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
Be able to build positive relationships with the staff and pupils.
