Salary: Up to £24,835.20 per annum
+£50 per sleep

Job Summary:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Join a dynamic team as a Residential Support Worker at a Children s Home in Derby. You will play a vital role in providing day-to-day care for our young residents, supporting them in various activities, education, and statutory meetings. Working within a dedicated, caring team, you will ensure the homes are maintained to a high standard, including cooking, cleaning, and safeguarding the welfare of our young people at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support young people in activities, education, and statutory meetings.
* Work collaboratively with a team to maintain the home's standards.
* Ensure the welfare and safeguarding of young people.
* Participate in household duties such as cooking and cleaning.
Person Specification:
* Proficient in written and spoken English for record-keeping and report writing.
* Basic arithmetic skills.
* Experience working with young people aged 12 to 17 with challenging behaviors.
* Teamwork skills and the ability to plan and coordinate activities.
* Understanding of the issues faced by children and young people.
* Awareness of the impact of abuse and oppression on young people.
* Commitment to treating others with dignity and respect.
